Just wanted to say a big thank you for the wonderful GG Trip to Newcastle. I have to admit that when my mother’s group friends suggested it I immediately thought that Newcastle was daggy……well Newy is daggy no more – The apartment accommodation was super spacious and modern. We were treated to luxury massages and facials in the comfort of our apartment on Friday night – a perfect way to start the weekend.
Saturday was started with coffee at Core and then breakfast at Zinc which were both just a few steps from our accommodation. A quick trip to the markets and then High Tea was divine – set up, cooked & served in our room by a beautiful mother & daughter team.
Saturday night was a blast – the cocktail making class at Coal & Cedar was so much fun – Sean looked after us with his cocktail knowledge & skills. This was such good value, we were already full from the antipasto plate that was included but still thought dinner was a must. A quick delicious meal at Chan Chan then off to another hidden gem bar right next door – Koutetsu – great atmosphere & enticing cocktails again…..
