Bali Blast 2015

Very exciting for us at GG as we have two new packages we will be trialling for the future.

One is a Girls Getaways to Bali, the Bali Blast package. Our first group is departing on 3 May 2015 we have 8 girls in total with a itinerary that will showcase the more "girly" options in Bali, our accommodation will be in a luxury villa in a secure complex, with its own pools and beautiful decor and landscaping. Its with no surprise that when my colleague Judy and I emailed a few girls there was an instant - "Count me In" response.

Without giving too much away, as we will launch this package early next year, we will include a private cooking class with transport to Ubud stopping at the markets to buy the produce and spices, before cooking up a storm and then enjoying our feast. A 5 hour pamper day in a luxury spa in Sanur, Sunset Cocktails and private rooftop dining in Seminyak. Luxury catamaran to  nearby island with grilled seafood BBQ lunch and water activities and many more inclusions for a 5 night Sunday to Friday Bali Adventure. Will  keep you posted.

Just Coffee

An insurgence of cafe culture has a lot to be said for nurturing and cultivating friendships.

How many times do you and a friend say "Lets catch up for coffee to mull over an issue or an idea?

Sitting in a cafe as I do every morning for my caffeine fix, there's groups of 2,3 or more girls chatting and sipping a latte, flattie (flat white) or a mocha with a side of banana bread or acai bowl, discussing anything. - I love this bonding that is shared over coffee.

Some of my fave coffee shops are: Zubi Narrabeen, The Baron Castle Hill, The Milkbar Port Macquarie, The Roadhouse Byron this one is a whisky bar at night - to name a few.

The Knock on effect of lovely words

Today we received some lovely words from one of our GG groups in the Hunter Valley this weekend. I passed on the praise to the others who contributed to the wonderful success of the weekend for Sherri's group. I promptly received an email from our Wine Tour company Jen, in her words she replied, "Makes it more than "just a job" when we are all appreciated". Its these simple words that have impacted 4 other businesses and made their "job"more than that. Sherri volunteered the information and took the time and energy to "put Keyboard to Screen" (the old pen to paper). Thanks Sherri. It made our day.

Sherri's note:

Hi Jennifer

Just wanted to let you know we had a fantastic time over the weekend.  The cottage was great and very relaxing, Steve was terrific as our wine tour guide and Katie was a gem.  I would highly recommend your services to any of my friends and me and the girls have decided to do this at least twice a year.  Thank you so much it was just what we all needed in our busy lives.
